There is a growing requirement from the C-Suite for companies to rapidly digitally transform. This is combined with a shift to digital content and commerce. Many boardrooms of the world’s largest brands and organizations have already made key decisions and are seeing first-hand the impacts of the global implications of the pandemic.

Very few industries are left untouched by the requirement to change and to make changes fast. Everything from airlines to retail has been impacted in some shape or form. As countries begin to ease lockdown restrictions at various dates and speeds, how businesses react to this, and how they speed up to ensure new revenue growth is a fine balance.

Utilities, apparel, grocery, entertainment, banking, and travel are all seeing large changes to how they operate. Consumption patterns may not return as quickly as hoped in this new scenario.

In other areas, we have seen remote working climb significantly with people who can work from home doing so. Zoom calls are now the new normal.

For companies who have not digitally transformed some or all of their organization to date, the challenge is large and the recovery will no doubt be even more difficult.

Organizations are looking for new ways to communicate with customers, to strengthen their brands, and to reimagine this new scenario. The need for agile teams, operating at speed, combined with quality is more important now than ever. Digital marketing and technology have a role to play in ensuring your global content is having the desired outcome.

Companies who succeed in this new digital recovery must realign their agendas, focus on digital, organize their platforms and processes, and most importantly, execute quickly!
